תיאטרון הבית מציג בכורה ישראלית ליצירתה של הכוריאוגרפית מיה מטילדה קרול. היצירה הוזמנה להציג בתיאטרון הבית כחלק מתכנית המחול 2025.
חוה, האבטיפוס הנשי המקראי, מתעוררת משתיקתה הכנועה והמפותה; במחאה נגד אלימות דמונית.
האם הראשונה שהייתה עדה לאחד מבניה רוצח את השני, ואחריה שירת דם אכזרית של אלפי שנים, נסדקת כמו אדמה חצויה.
תפילתה היא ריבוי קולות; הזורמים כנוזל בעורקי האבל והתחייה. תפילה כפעולה של אמון עמוק, הדורשת שינוי רדיקלי של חזון ותשומת לב לתיקון, ריפוי ואיחוד ברוח.
כזרם תת-קרקעי העולה, מורד ושואף לחיים ולחיות, "דגל חוה" נובע אחדות מעבר לשוני; כמסר מקיומנו הראשוני הקדום.

מיה מטילדה קרול היא כוריאוגרפית, רקדנית, מנטורית ומורה, המתגוררת באירופה מאז 2004. יוצרת עבודות מחול ומופעים עצמאיים בשיתוף פעולה עם רקדנים, מוסיקאים, שחקנים, משוררים ואמנים חזותיים. עבודתה נובעת מהמחשת סאונד ומוסיקאליות, פיזיות עשירה בפרטים וחקירה תנועתית תוך חיבור בין סומטיקה לקומפוזיציה. מיה יזמה את "האינסטרומנט" ב2011 עם שותפה לחיים וליצירה, המלחין/מוסיקאי רוי קרול. שיתוף הפעולה ארוך השנים ביניהם הוא חוויה יחודית של מרקם ואווירה שבתוכם מיה ממשיכה לפתח את עולמה הכוריאוגרפי. האינסטרומנט יוזם ומעורב בהפקות ופרויקטים עצמאיים ונתמכים. כמורה מיה מנחה כיתות אומן וסדנאות באירופה ובחו"ל, תוך פיתוח נרחב של הוראתה לצד עבודתה האמנותית, כמשיכה לביטוי האנושי, החברתי והפואטי של הגוף הרוקד.
Flag of Eve
Eve, the biblical-ancient female archetype, rises from her submissive, seduced silence; in protest against demonic violence. The first mother who witnessed one of her sons murdering the other, followed by a brutal bloodsong of millenniums, is cracking open like a split earth.
Her prayer is a multitude of voices; streaming as fluid in the veins of mourning and resurrecting. Prayer as an action of deep-rooted trust, demanding a radical shift of vision and attention to repairing, healing and being joined in spirit.
An undercurrent rising, rebelling and striving for life and aliveness, Flag of Eve emanates oneness as a message beyond difference; from our primary existence.

Maya Matilda Carroll is a choreographer, dancer, mentor and teacher, based in Europe since 2004. For over twenty years she has been creating independent dance work and performance, collaborating with dancers, musicians, actors, poets and visual artists. Her work evolves from her embodiment of sound/music, the detailed physicality and exploration of vocabulary in her dance. Maya formed The Instrument (2011) with her life and artistic-work partner; composer / musician Roy Carroll. Their long-standing collaboration is a unique experience of texture and atmosphere within which Maya continues developing her choreographic landscapes. Through The Instrument Maya initiates and is involved in productions that range between independent projects and larger scale commissions. As a teacher, Maya leads master classes and workshops in Europe and abroad, extensively developing her teaching alongside her artistic work; drawn from and towards the human, social and poetic manifestation of the dancing body. http://www.
