קופים

 בהפקת הזירה הבין תחומית.

 יצירה בימתית מאת עמית דרורי.

 על הבמה 12 פרפורמרים פועלים יחד, מתוכם 3 בני אדם ו 9 קופים רובוטיים. הקופים הרובוטים נבנו במלאכת יד ובאובססיה לפרטים במשך למעלה מ 5 שנים. הם מייצגים בו זמנית את מוצא האדם – הקוף, ואת (כנראה) מחליפו של האדם – הרובוט. קופים מתעסקת בגבולות שבין אדם ל״לא אדם״: בין התרבות האנושית לתרבות ה״כמעט אנושית״ (התרבות הרובוטית, התרבות הקופית ותרבות המפלצות).

MONKEYS

A production of Hazira performance art arena.

A stage creation by Amit Drori

Twelve performers on one stage – three people and nine monkey robots all working together. The monkey robots were hand crafted for over 5 years with an obsession to details.

They simultaneously represent the origins of man – the ape, and (so it seems) man's replacement – the robot.

Monkeys challenges us with an imaginary, yet not altogether fictional, reality, where robotic hybrids organize as a society, forming relationships and embodying human traits like compassion, affection, and intimacy, but also cruelty and destructive desire.
