הופעה שהיא גם הרצאה וסדנה, על הדרך בה קשב לגוף יכול לעזור להשתחרר מאוטומט פיזי ומחשבתי. למעלה מ­ 15 שנה סיגל ברגמן יוצרת עבודות מחול ובמקביל מלמדת שיטת אלכסנדר ואילתור. ביצירה ״בהילוך ידני״ היא ממוססת את הגבולות בין שלושת התחומים ונותנת לשילוב ביניהם להוליד משהו חדש. במופע סדנה זה הקהל נשאר ישוב בכיסאו, ומוזמן לעבור תהליך של הבנה ושינוי דרך צפייה, הקשבה, דמיון ועשיית פעולות פשוטות כמו הצבעה או אמירת שמו. המחשבה משנה תנועה ותנועה משנה אותנו, החושבים. הגוף משנה את המחשבה ומחשבה משנה אותנו, הנעים.

Revert to Manual is a performance/lecture/lesson about how listening to our bodies can free us from physical and mental habits. For over 15 years Sigal Bergman has been creating dances, teaching improvisation and the Alexander Technique. In REVERT TO MANUAL she dissolves the borders between those fields letting the alchemy between them create new possibilities. How can the magic of touch of an Alexander technique session be transferred into a performance set up? How can dance techniques heal and transform our thinking about our health in general?
